Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport Terminal 2
Terminal 2 of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport host international flights, all of them to Middle East. It was inaugurated on 2008 and is the new integrated terminal to the airport building
Though it is an international airport, it has never been an important airport due to the underestimate of the developments done so far which were based on regional requirements, forgetting about the concept of hub airport.
It can handle over 150 arriving and 150 departing passengers on peak hours.
During Hajj season there is a special terminal available to host 600 pilgrims.
The International Terminal is located on the first floor.
It also has capacity for 325 aircraft, either for arrivals and departures.
Additionally, you can find 13 check-in counters, along with 6 customs, 3 security and 9 immigration counters.
